More people attended E3 through Home than in real life
Sony's virtual E3 stand beat real E3 number in one day
Sony's found one way to get PS3 owners into its free virtual social service, Home - by launching an E3 booth in it.
Sony's E3 Experience booth in the virtual world pulled in over 60,000 visitors in its first day - which the PS Blog is quick to point out is more than the 45,000 attendee total for the real E3 event.
A quarter of a million people in total took to Home to check out Jack Tretton's E3 Press Conference live, check out the latest games and snag some special free Home goodies.
"We have tremendous momentum coming out of E3, and you can bet that we're going to continue to come correct and deliver the content that you demand between now and our next big event," says Home's Online community specialist.
I myself took a look at E3 Home.
PS Home has racked up over 14 million users worldwide.
