Gran Turismo 5 'My Lounge' feature revealed
OPM spills the beans on GT5's robust community features
'My Lounge' in Gran Turismo 5 is a community-focused room for voice chat, multiplayer, videos, leaderboards and other features that players you to interact with others in the racing sim.
My Lounge is where you'll go to converse with other players, with the option to set up voice chat parties of up to 32 people, and from there you can set up 16-player races or look in on currently in-progress races to check out other players' lines, according to the latest issue of OPM.
My Lounge will also feature bulletin boards that keep you up to date with any community and online news, the ability to send and receive messages, and snoop through other players' progress sheet and check out how far they've got in what's sure to be one mammoth game.
And you'll be able to watch race replays too, or check out GT-TV which, like GT5: Prologue, we expect will be full of car and motorsport-related videos, documentaries on the game and episodes of Top Gear.
Polyphony is currently running a competition for players to give a name to the game's theme tune and appear in the game's credits.
