Patton wages War on PS3 and PS Vita...
Out of nowhere it has come to light that the brilliant Legends Of War is to land on PS3 and Vita next month. Here's the official word.
PQube Games has confirmed the recently revealed History: Legends of War is set for release throughout PAL territories next month. Currently in development at Slitherine, History: Legends of War will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC.
History: Legends of War is a unique turn-based strategy videogame in which players will command their troops from the bloodied beaches of Normandy to the war-torn streets of Berlin. Gameplay follows General Patton’s campaign from the D-Day landings to Berlin with players commanding the US Third Army. Combining role-playing game (RPG) elements with detailed strategy and tactics, gamers aim to build on squads’ abilities as they progress through the campaign.
While increasing your General skills as Patton, each individual unit – infantry units, commandos, snipers, bazooka men, armoured units (such as tanks and artillery) – is affected by the decisions you make. As you progress through missions the individual units gain experience and increase their abilities, developing your attachment to specific troops and creating heroes that you want to see through the whole war.
History: Legends of War is set to land on shore in stores on 22nd February 2013, on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC simultaneously.
We gave the brilliant PSP game 9/10 when it landed on Sony's old handheld. Lets hope the PS3/Vita game is just as good.
