PS3's Internal Clock wakes up

We ask, why is the internet full of morons?

Anyone who had dropped off on the 28th and woke on the 1st March may have been fooled into thinking the world was coming to an end.

No not another earthquake that has killed 1000s, the PS3 threw a wobbler.

Yes hell froze over as fat PS3's locked up in a leap year error making the PS3 think its internal security had been compromised.

No internet, games not starting and many other things were reported as the official sites ground to a halt.

Computer and Video games even felt an article was needed all about how bad online was.

They now state that "Sony have fixed it". Fixed what? It was the internal clock.

Here's what someone said in the comments:

"The fix they did? Just wait until the day passed. Yeah, we won't bother looking for a real fix. Let's just sit on our butts and drink some hot cocoa with marshmellows.
Mmm. Tasty. Is it tomorrow yet? Lazy gits."

So what did people like him want Sony to do? Make a fix that they couldn't? They said what would happen and it did.

If I'm honest the comments on some forums were bordering on the insane. Are people really that desperate to bash a company?

"Rows even resorted to Live V's PSN. Exclusive games, GT5 V's Forza.

It really is quite pathetic to see all this going on when we turn on the TV to see the widespread devastation in Chile.

A few words from PS Online, "Get a life!"
